Sponsorship License in 4 weeks UK Skilled Worker route
I want to share a case about obtaining a Sponsorship License for the UK Skilled Worker Route.
A young woman Gulziya has her own company here in London, which conducts accounting and finance activities. The company provides services for self-employed entrepreneurs and owners of large companies as well:
- Company registration
- Bookkeeping
- Annual reporting
- Registration, calculation and refund of VAT Taxes
- Maintaining salaries for employees, PAYE
- Letters of appeal and cancellation of fines
To hire an employee from another country, the company owner in the UK needs a Sponsorship License for Skilled Worker Route.
We have applied for a license to hire an employee who is a citizen of Uzbekistan and graduated from Brunel University London.
The valuable employee has been working in the company for 3 years as a part time employee on Tier 4 student visa with 20 hours per week work permission. Now he is switching from Tier 4 student to Skilled Worker visa. A sponsorship license could be issued for one or more employees depend on available vacancies in the company for a period of 4 years. Accordingly, the sponsorship license needs to be updated periodically.
We applied for a license on 03/01/2024.
We received it on 03/29/2024.
We received a sponsor’s license with an A rating, because all the requirements of the Home Office were met:
- Gulziya’s company BS Consulting has been operating since 2021, has all the necessary certificates in accounting and finance
- She has employer’s liability insurance
- She is a registered VAT payer in the UK
- The company has a good reputation in the UK
- The company submits all reports on time
Also, Gulziya herself has:
- a UK permanent residency
- she is a director of the company
- a Level-1 user of SMS compliance system
- authorized officer
